The jury
All performances are watched and scored by an international jury of distinguished concert performers and renowned music teachers. The evaluation is anonymous: the jury assesses the performance alone. The decisions of the jury are final and cannot be appealed.
Names, biographies and photographs will be published before the evaluation begins. Every performance is evaluated anonymously, regardless of the composition of the jury.
The jury does not see the participants' names, only the entry code, the category and the programme. Every jury member scores every recording independently, except a competitor whom they teach or to whom they are related, with a mark from 70.00 to 100.00. The highest and the lowest mark are removed and the remaining marks averaged. When the results are announced, the marks of every jury member are made public.
