The foundation
The foundation exists for the part of a musical life that talent alone cannot solve: the instrument itself, the lessons, the trip to the competition.
Talent is everywhere. The instrument is not.
It places fine instruments, scholarships and grants with talented young musicians — any instrument, any country. Applications are open and there is no fee to apply.
The foundation takes no part in judging. A musician it has helped competes here exactly like everyone else — under an entry code, with no name attached to the recording. The two are kept separate on purpose.
The competition is the part you can enter. Applications are open to participants from all countries.
