Founder and Director
The Grand Prix was founded by Borko Radivojević, accordionist, composer and producer, and founder of the Balkan Music Academy. He has devoted more than three decades to the instrument, and recent years to preserving and promoting the music of the region by passing on what he has learned.
The jury
Accordionists and pedagogues who assess each recording anonymously, on the performance alone.
Participants compete from the place where they practise, and so do their students, in the case of teachers. There is nothing to book, no journey and no lost school days.
This page does not enter anyone into the competition and involves no payment. It is a request to be notified when applications open.
